Florida Couples Photographer | Surprise Proposal at Big Talbot Island | Heirloom & Oil LLC

I got to end 2019 in a BIG way with Heirloom & Oil!! Madalyn contacted me about having some couples photos done while her & her boyfriend, Ryan, were in town visiting family for the holiday’s. I could tell just by talking with her that they were so in love and it was going to be an awesome session. The night before the session Ryan contacted me to let me know he would like to turn the session into a surprise engagement session. I was so excited!!!

We decided that about half way through our session I would prompt them to pose with their backs to each other and he would get down on one knee. We managed to pull it off and she was totally surprised!! I won’t lie I was feeling a little emotional while shooting in that moment when she turned around to see him on one knee. It totally brought back all the feels of when I got engaged to my husband. This was such a beautiful moment to witness and I’m so honored I was able to document it!! Not only were they absolutely the cutest and sweetest, but we had an amazing location and the dreamiest light ever.
