This project is something that started as a personal self portrait project while my husband was deployed. My husband was gone 10 months out of our son's first year! I felt captivated, okay maybe even a little obsessed with, trying to capture as much as possible. I was always trying to document all the moments big and small while absolutely exhausted, and in love. I'm now creating these sessions for families who have a deployed loved one.
